Job Description

Job Description

Macchiato is the residential leasing and management brand of Sollevare Group, a Brooklyn real estate firm that owns and renovates brownstone buildings in Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill, Boerum Hill, Brooklyn Heights and Park Slope. We run our apartments like a hospitality brand: thoughtful design, a coffee bar in every unit, a welcome box on move-in, and service residents notice.

We're hiring a Social Media & Content Manager to shoot, edit and publish the content that makes Macchiato recognizable on the street and online. You'll film our apartments, our buildings, the businesses in our ground-floor spaces (from Pilates and hot yoga studios to a French bakery) and the neighborhoods around them. Content will capture what it's like to live in brownstone Brooklyn: the blocks, the shops and the daily rhythm.

We're building Macchiato into a lifestyle brand. Your job is to turn that into a community people want to follow. This is a hands-on creator role.

What you'll do | Shooting and edit

Film unit walkthroughs and "look inside this Macchiato apartment" tours for every listing before it goes live on StreetEasy

Shoot listing photography and short-form video of renovated units, common areas and building exteriors

Produce neighborhood content: "a day in the life on Court Street," local coffee shops, restaurants, retail partners and seasonal moments

Capture move-in moments, welcome box unboxings and building décor (with resident consent)

Edit for Instagram Reels, TikTok and Stories; cut versions for listings and the website

Publish and grow

Own the Macchiato Instagram and TikTok: content calendar, posting, captions, community replies

Post 3–15 times per week across channels, with a monthly shot list agreed in advance

Build relationships with neighborhood businesses for collaborations and resident perks

Track reach, follower growth, saves and listing inquiries from social; report monthly

Protect the brand

Keep every post consistent with Macchiato's visual identity (cream, gold and brown palette; timeless Brooklyn brownstone feel)

Coordinate with property management on unit access and with leasing on what goes live and when

Follow our review process for listing content, advertising rules and fair housing guidelines

Compensation

  • Part-time, hourly: $35–$45 per hour, based on experience and portfolio
  • Expected commitment: 10-15 hours per week, with flexible scheduling around shoots, unit turnovers and neighborhood events
