Job Description
Join our Team. The Capital District Psychiatric Center is hiring for a Licensed Psychologist to be part of an inpatient multidisciplinary treatment team. Psychologists focus on providing evidence based patient centered and culturally sensitive treatment to adults with serious mental illness. The position is a Monday through Friday position. There are opportunities on the Inpatient Program in Albany NY and one opportunity at an adult mental health outpatient clinic in Schenectady NY.
OMH Psychologists:
• Provide professional psychological services and assessments
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Provide individual and group psychotherapy and crisis intervention
• Perform psychological evaluations including forensic or court-ordered assessments
• Provide clinical leadership
• Provide program management
• Train and mentor psychology interns and externs
Job Requirements
• Licensed Psychologist – Licensed and currently
registered to practice psychology in New York State
