Patient Services Manager
Job Description
Empire Dermatology is seeking a dedicated and experienced Patient Services Manager to oversee the day-to-day non-clinical operations of our practice. In this role, you will help ensure exceptional patient service, operational efficiency, and the successful management and development of non-clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily non-clinical operations to ensure efficiency and exceptional customer service.
- Partner with the Practice Administrator to ensure operations meet client expectations.
- Assist the Chief Operating Officer in developing operational strategies, plans, and objectives.
- Establish and implement goals, policies, procedures, and systems for non-clinical operational areas.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and operational standards, including OSHA and HIPAA.
- Develop and manage training programs for new procedures, systems, and technology.
- Manage services provided to client practices to ensure appropriate staffing coverage.
- Participate in recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training of non-clinical staff.
- Supervise and mentor direct reports, including: Scheduling Lead, Front Office Lead, Call Center Lead
- Conduct regular supervisory meetings, performance check-ins, and evaluations.
- Gather, analyze, and report on operational data and performance metrics.
- Coach, counsel, and support staff development while maintaining a positive work environment.
- Identify and develop growth opportunities for team members.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Typically scheduled Monday through Friday, approximately 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM, with some flexibility need based on operational and business needs.
Location & Travel:
- Primary office: East Syracuse, NY
- Must have the ability to travel occasionally to our other offices in: Camillus, Fulton, Oneida, NY and North Tonawanda (Buffalo area)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience
- Reliable transportation
